In Nederland en Vlaanderen zijn vele steden met interessante architectuur te vinden. Dit boek biedt 6 routes in Nederland: Groningen, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Den Haag, Rotterdam en Maastricht, en 3 routes in Vlaanderen: Antwerpen, Gent en Brussel. De tekst is zeer toegankelijk voor iedereen, de echte kenner van architectuur zal echter niets nieuws in dit boek vinden. Het boek is goed vormgegeven; vele kleurenfoto's tonen de belangrijkste gebouwen langs de verschillende routes. De routes liggen voor de hand, maar zijn leuk om te lopen. De wandelroutes zijn echter vrij lang, gemiddeld 3,5 uur en in Antwerpen en Brussel zijn er zelfs wandelingen van 5 uur. Een handige manier om de architectonisch interessante gebouwen van de verschillende steden te zien. - Gilbert van der Lee

Marlon Blackwell is a passionate polemicist. He's also a very gifted architect.
